A-COLD-WALL* will exhibit a selection of garments focused on the classic silhouette. M-65 jackets will be gifted to select, exhibition participants.
Seven specialist materials, provided directly by world renowned Italian mills have been utilised for this specific study to extend the possibility of a single packable garment pattern.
The result of this study being reductive, packable high-quality M-65 Jackets transferred to attendees in limited numbers - at no cost of the attendee.
The modular, well documented yet unspoken history of the jacket forms as host to display A-COLD-WALL*’s focus on fabrication, material property, uniformity & reductive function, thus embodying the requirements of modernity.
M-65’s globalised lineage represents an open-source philosophy.
Localised manufacturing of garments has been prioritised, resulting in all garments being cut and stitched and finished in London.
